Are all products vegan?

Yes, all our products are 100% vegan. We are proudly Vegan Society approved.

Are any products tested on animals?

No. Never. Our products are 100% cruelty free. We are proudly Leaping Bunny approved, the internationally recognisable gold standard for cruelty free products.

Are these products suitable for eczema, psoriasis, rosacea and acne?

The range was formulated specifically for problem skin. Packed with natural skin-nourishing ingredients and plant-based actives, the formulas intensely hydrate without leaving skin or hair feeling greasy. As with using any new product on problem skin, we would highly recommend patch testing first. 

Where are these products manufactured?

We manufacture all our products in the UK and we're a proud member of Made in Britain.

Are the ingredients natural?

Yes. We work closely with our COSMOS Natural approved supplier to ensure you benefit from the best, ethically sourced, natural ingredients.

Are these products available to buy in stores?

At present we're only offering the full range online, but we will be adding independent wellbeing shops, spa retreats and health food stores to our list of authorised stockists throughout the year.

Can I return my order?

We always aim to ensure our customers love our products, but if you do need to return an order, we’re happy to help. Please email support@hannasillitoe.com for assistance.

If you wish to return your products for a refund please email us directly and we’ll take you through the process. Items should be in their tube with the sticker seal still affixed.

How can I get the recipe for Skin Glow Sourdough?

For our beloved customers interested in making their own Skin Glow Sourdough, please contact us directly and we'll provide the recipe via a link that you can access. Simply follow the URL we provide, and you will find the detailed recipe to create your sourdough bread at home. Enjoy your baking and the tasty results!

Can you recommend products for psoriasis, and how do they work?

For psoriasis, we recommend products that focus on gut health as a significant portion of our immune system is housed there. A healthy gut can be critical in managing auto-immune conditions such as psoriasis. Our Multi Strain is specifically formulated to support clear skin, with just 15ml per day needed to begin improving the microbiome. It should be taken first thing in the morning before any other meals or drinks.

Additionally, for topical relief, the following products are suggested:

  • Skin Soothing Spray for easing irritation or itching
  • Body Cream with specific ingredients for psoriasis affected body areas
  • Hydrating Cleanser and Vitamin D Face Cream for the face
  • Intensive Scalp Oil and Shampoo for managing scalp psoriasis
  • Scar Minimising Oil to help reduce scarring

Is Milk Thistle safe for children and are there any other product precautions?

While Milk Thistle is beneficial, we don't recommend it for children as it is a tincture and includes alcohol. You might want to look for a child-friendly version from other sources if needed. However, our Multi Strain Biotic is an excellent choice for children and can promote gut health, especially after antibiotic use.

Please remember to read the product labelling carefully and follow the recommended dosages. If there are any discrepancies or concerns, feel free to reach out to us for clarification.

What products do you recommend for sensitive and itchy scalps that are not related to psoriasis?

Even if you do not suffer from psoriasis, our range includes products formulated to alleviate irritation for sensitive and dry scalps. We recommend using our Shampoo and Scalp Oil, both of which are designed to soothe and hydrate. If inquiring about additional products like conditioner, and they have not been specifically recommended, it may be best to consult further or proceed with the mentioned recommendations only.

Is the Multi Strain Biotic safe and beneficial for children?

Our Multi Strain Biotic is safe for children and can offer various health benefits. The recommended dosages are as follows:

  • 5 drops once a day for children under 7 years of age
  • One teaspoon for children aged 7 and older

It is best consumed on an empty stomach, first thing in the morning, to optimise results. For infants, it can be added to formula or directly onto the nipple during breastfeeding. In any case, if there's ever a hesitation, it's best to consult with a physician familiar with the child's health.

Can the Multi Strain Biotic be taken during pregnancy and while breastfeeding?

The Multi Strain Biotic is considered safe to consume during pregnancy and also while breastfeeding. It has been used by many, including our founder, throughout her pregnancy and continued use during breastfeeding. It's always recommended to speak with your GP or midwife if you have any doubts or questions, as they are familiar with you and your medical history.

Are there variations in taste and texture of the Multi Strain Biotic between batches?

Our Multi Strain Biotic is a naturally brewed product, and because of this, you may notice differences in taste or texture between different batches. Variations such as fizziness when opening or tasting, or the presence of cloudiness or particles in the liquid, are quite normal and do not impact the efficacy of the product. We liken the taste to sour apple juice and assure you that these characteristics are natural and expected.

What is the shelf life of the Multi Strain Biotic once opened?

Our Multi Strain Biotic has a best before date printed on the packaging. Once opened, it should ideally be consumed within 2 months to maintain its quality and effectiveness. Be sure to store it as directed to ensure the product remains at its best during its shelf life.

How can I pause my subscription?

To pause your subscription, you may reach out to us via email or utilise the subscription management link provided on our website. For example, if you would like to skip a particular shipment, we can amend the next shipment date accordingly. Please provide adequate notice to make these changes before your next scheduled delivery. You can keep track of your subscription and manage it at any time through the account management link.

How can I cancel my subscription?

Follow the steps to cancel the subscription service. It's important to note that if you have chosen a subscription with a discount based on a commitment to a minimum number of orders, you must fulfill that commitment before you can cancel.

For example, if you selected our subscription offer for the Multi Strain Biotic, which comes with a discount in exchange for committing to a minimum of three bottles, you can cancel your subscription after your third bottle has been delivered.

How long will it take to get my order?

It depends on where you are. Orders processed here will take 5-7 business days to arrive. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.

Do you ship overseas?

Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout.

What shipping carriers do you use?

We use all major carriers, and local courier partners. You’ll be notified of our delivery method upon placing your order.

How do I know when my Juice Cleanse will be shipped or arrive?

Our Juice Cleanses have specific shipping schedules. Orders placed before a certain cutoff day of the week are shipped within the same week on a designated day, ensuring Day delivery with our courier. If you order after the cutoff, your cleanse will be shipped the following week. Any updates to the shipping schedule will be communicated to customers, and if unexpected delays occur, we will inform you and arrange for the next convenient delivery date. You can always contact us for confirmation regarding your delivery date.

How can I update my shipping address for a current order?

If you need to update the shipping address for an existing order, please contact us as soon as possible with the correct details. For example, when a customer realised they put the wrong address, our response was to update the shipping information accordingly and confirm the new shipping address with the customer. Please ensure to provide us with the complete and accurate address to avoid any delivery issues. If the order has not yet been shipped, we will amend the address. If it is already in transit, we will do our best to contact the carrier and request an address change.

What should I do if I have not received my order?

If you haven't received your order and you were expecting it, please get in touch with us so we can look into it. We can track your parcel and investigate the delivery status with the carrier. If there is no update and the delivery timeframe has passed, we will raise an investigation with the carrier and strive to resolve the issue promptly. We are committed to ensuring that you receive your order and will keep you informed throughout the process.

This website is certified secure. Your credit card details are not stored by Hanna Sillitoe Ltd but by a secure payment system called Stripe. This payment system is certified PCI Service Provider level 1.

We appreciate your concern for sustainability. Our company is proud of sourcing our packaging sustainably within the UK, and we constantly research better ways to be eco-friendlier. Although some sustainable practices are presently beyond our financial capacity, we're committed to making improvements as we grow.

Can I still access sale prices after the sale has ended?

Our sale prices are available for a limited time, and once a sale has ended, products return to their regular pricing. However, there may be exceptions such as a customer who had items in their basket at sale prices but did not complete the purchase before the sale ended. In such cases, we may provide a special discount code to honor the sale price for a short extension. This code must be used before the given deadline.

How do I apply a discount code to my order?

To apply a discount code to your order, proceed to the checkout page. Once there, you will find a designated box to enter your discount code. Make sure to input the correct code before completing the checkout process to receive your discount. Is your packaging recyclable?

Yes. We have used amber glass wherever possible - the only products that use recyclable plastic are those that will be used in the shower and the scalp oil bottle (to help you squeeze the oil).
